Mayor

Clerk March 13, 2020 Special Meeting of Council I have called this special meeting today to address a request from a resident to bury his deceased spouse. Out of compassion for the family, some of whom are visiting from the US, I have called this special meeting to allow the family to take care of their affairs while they are all together at this time.
I also take full responsibility for calling this meeting without providing for the three days meeting notice requirement. I did this since the three-day meeting notification period would not allow for the family to adequately plan and implement the services and burial in this instance.
Mayor Ron Higgins
