[image] Minutes of a Special Meeting of C The Corporation of the Township of N Held Friday, October 27, 2023 in the Council Cham Ontario Present: Mayor Gerry Lichty; Counc 1; Councillor Roy Huetl - W Inglis and Councillor Fred Absent with Regret: Councillor Wayne Good - W Hermer - Ward 2 Also Present: Corey Klatt, Chief Adminis Watkins, Treasurer (CAO B Planning Manager (CPM); Community Development ( Works Manager (PWM) an Emergency Services/Fire C 1. Call to Order; Purpose of Meeting; and Chair The Mayor called the meeting to order at 9:05 a.m. He advised the purpose of the meeting is to discuss the Township’s Strategic Plan. 2. Approval of Agenda a) October 27, 2023 Resolution #: 446-23 Moved By: Seconded By: Councillor Re Councillor Fo Be It Resolved That Council approves the Agenda for the Special Meeting regarding the Strategic Plan dated October 27, 2023, as circulated. Carried 3. Disclosure of Pecuniary Interest and Genera None declared. 4. Business Arising from the Minutes a) Resolution #418-23: Strategic Planning Se Resolution #: 447-23 Moved By: Seconded By: Councillor Re Councillor Hu Whereas Council passed Resolution #418-23 receiving for information the presentation from Steve Lichty and Suzanne Harrision, Capital Parks Consulting Inc.; and completed Council’s Strategic Plan Session; Therefore Be It Resolved That Council receives for information “Interim Report No. 2: Workshop Proceedings” dated October 2, 2023 from Capital Parks Consulting Inc. Carried 5. Presentation a) Capital Parks Consulting Inc. - Interim Rep Engagement Activities Resolution #: 448-23 Moved By: Seconded By: Deputy Mayo Councillor Fo Be It Resolved That Council receives for information the presentation from Steve Lichty and Time Hore, Capital Parks Consulting Inc.; regarding the Strategic Plan; and thanks them for their time spent today. Carried 6. Council, CAO, and Managers’ Administrative a) Chief Administrative Officer: Short Term R North Frontenac Strategic Planning Sessi Resolution #: 449-23 Moved By: Seconded By: Deputy Mayo Councillor Fo Be It Resolved That Council receives for information the Chief Administrative Officer’s Administrative Report entitled “Short Term Rental (STR) Discussion for North Frontenac Strategic Planning Session”. Carried 7. Public Forum None. 8. Confirmatory By-law a) Confirming By-law #72-23 Resolution #: 450-23 Moved By: Seconded By: Councillor Hu Councillor Fo Be It Resolved That By-law #72-23, being a By-law to confirm all actions and proceedings of Council for its Special Meeting held October 27, 2023 be read a first, second, and third time and finally passed. Carried 9. Adjournment a) Adjournment of Council Meeting Resolution #: 451-23 Moved By: Seconded By: Councillor Fo Councillor Hu Be It Resolved That Council adjourns the Meeting at 1:02 p.m. until November 3, 2023 or at the call of the Chair.
