TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FRONTENAC BY-LAW 2010-09
A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW 2007-83, SCHEDULE “A”, BEING A BY-LAW TO PROVJDE FOR GOVERNING THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COUNCIL, THE CONDUCT OF MEMBERS AND THE CALLING OF MEETINGS. ^
WHEREAS Section 238(2) of the Municipal Act, 2001, c.25 as amended (the Act), provides that Council shall adopt a Procedure By-law for governing the calling, the place and proceedings of meetings;
AND WHEREAS Section 2.1 of the Act provides that the procedure by-law shall provide for public notice of meetings;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation ot die Township of South Frontenac
passed Resolution No. 2010-1-07 at their meeting on January 12th, 2010 with respect to the composition of Council;
NOW THEREFORE THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SOU
FRONTENAC, BY ITS COUNCIL, HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
That Schedule “A”, Item (1) of Procedural Rules ~ Motions, Section 2.6, is hereby amended accordingly.
This by-law shall come into force and take effect on January 19th, 2010. th

CHANGES TO COUNCIL COMPOSITION
Where Council wishes to consider changes to the composition of council
