TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FRONTENAC BY-LAW 2010-28
A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF VARIOUS STORRINGTON DISTRICT CEMETERIES.
WHEREAS the Municipal Act 2001, Section 5(3), provides that the powers of every council shall be exercised by by-law; and,
WHEREAS the Municipal Act 2001 Section 8 provides that every council may pass such by-laws as may be deemed expedient; and,
WHEREAS the Corporation of the Township of South Frontenac (The “Municipality”) deems it expedient to enter into a contract for the maintenance and care-taking of Storrmgton District Cemeteries;
NOW THEREFORE THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUT FRONTENAC, BY ITS COUNCIL, HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:

- That the contract attached hereto forms part of this by-law.

The public opening of bids will follow at the Township Office immediately following the close of bidding.
Site meetings are available for all potential bidders. Please contact JoAnne Lyons, Secretary, Stomngton Cemetery Board for information at (613) 353-2381. No grass cutting or trimming will be allowed on Sundays or during a funeral service. The Township may select a different bidder for each cemetery.
