SOUTH FRONTENAC TOWNSHIP BY-LAW 2010-70

A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW 2010-27, TO AUTHORIZE THE LEVY OF TAXES IN THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FRONTENAC ON MULTIRESIDENTIAL, COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL PROPERTIES FOR THE YEAR 2010.

WHEREAS it is necessary for the Council of the Corporation of the Township of South Frontenac, pursuant to the Municipal Act, S. 0. 2001, Chapter 25, to establish taxes for the year 2010; and, WHEREAS caps on the amounts of taxes to be levied from Multi-Residential, Commercial and Industrial Assessment have been imposed by the Province of Ontario; and,

WHEREAS the necessary calculations have now been completed to permit the levying of taxes on Multi-Residential, Commercial and Industrial Assessment in accordance with the tax caps;

NOW THEREFORE THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SOU

FRONTENAC, BY ITS COUNCIL, HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:

  1. By-law 2010-27 is hereby amended to authorize the Treasurer to issue tax notices for Multi-Residential, Commercial and Industrial properties with a due date of October 29,

  2. All of the provisions of By-law 2010-27 as they relate to assessments other than Multi -Residential, Commercial and Industrial Assessments shall be applicable to MultiResidential, Commercial and Industrial Assessments.

  3. This by-law shall come into force and take effect on the date of its passage.
