TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FRONTENAC BY-LAW 2010-71

BEING A BY-LAW TO ASSUME AS COMMON AND PUBLIC HIGHWAYS CERTAIN LANDS IN THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH

FRONTENAC, AS DESCRIBED IN SCHEDULE “A” TO THIS BY-

LAW, PURSUANT TO SECTION 31(6), OF THE MUNICIPAL ACT 2001.

WHEREAS certain lands in the Township of South Frontenac were deeded to the

Corporation of the Township of South Frontenac for the purpose of dedicating them to public use as common and public highways;

AND WHEREAS Council wishes to enact a by-law for the purpose of assuming the lands as part of the public highways to be maintained by the municipality; NOW THEREFORE THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH

FRONTENAC, BY ITS COUNCIL, HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1.

Those lands in the Township of South Frontenac as described in the attached

Schedule “A” are hereby established and assumed as part of those common and public highways referred to therein;

  1. Schedule “A” is hereby attached to and forms part of this by-law. This by-law shall come into force and take effect on the date of registration of this by-law.

Dated at the Township of South Frontenac this 21st day of September, 2010. Read a first and second time this 21st day of September, 2010. Read a third time and finally passed this 21st day of September, 2010. THE CORPORATION OF THE

SCHEDULE “A”

  1. Those lands lying in part lot 3 and part lot 4, concession 8, in the former Township of Portland, now in the Township of South Frontenac, and

further described as parts 7 & 12 on Plan 13R-19874, municipally known as Holleford Road.

  1. Those lands lying in part lot 19, concession 6, in the former Township of Portland, now in the Township of South Frontenac, and further

described as part 2 on Plan 13R-19842, municipally known as Petworth Road.

  1. Those lands lying in part lot 2, concession 17, in the former Township of Bedford, now in the Township of South Frontenac, and further described

as parts 14,15, & 16 on Plan 13R-19915, municipally known as Opinicon Road.
