TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH fRQNTENAC BY-LAW 2011-14

Being a by-law to stop up, close and sell a portion of the unopened road allowance between lot 5 and lot 6 in concession 12, District of

Bedford

WHEREAS south Frontenac Township Council has given approval in principle to close

AND WHEREAS> pursuant to the Township of South Frontenac’s Notice By-law 2002-

92^the Corporation of the Township of South Frontenac caused to be published for’four consecutive weeks in local newspapers and caused to be posted, a public notice that

Council proposed to pass a By-law to close the said road allowance;

AND WHEREAS there are no other property owners whose properties abut this road

allowance or whose properties are accessed by means of this road allowance;

AND WHEREAS the said allowance is not used as a travelled road;

AND WHEREAS no objections h^ve been received to the road closing; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Township of South Frontenac enacts as follows:

  1. Thatthe portion of roadallowance in concession 12, lying between lot 5 and lot 6, in the former Township of Bedford, now in the Township of South Frontenac, being part 8 on Plan 13R-20077 shall be stopped up and closed;

  2. That the said road after being stopped up and completely closed shall be sold to the owner of the abutting property (part 1, 13R-20077);

  3. That the Mayor and CIerk/Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to execute such documents as are required;

  4. ThaUhis By-law shall come into force and take effect upon registration of this By-law.
