THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FRONTENAC BY-LAW NO. 2011-42
BEING A BY-LAW TO DELEGATE THE CAO/CLERK TO POWER TO APPRO
LIVESTOCK CLAIMS PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 8, 9 AND 10 AND 23.1 OF THE MUNICIPAL ACT, 2001, AS AMENDED AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH BY-LAW 200781
WHEREAS under section 23.1 of the Municipal Act, 2001 as amended Council has a general power to delegate its powers and duties to a person or body subject to the restrictions set out in the Act
AND WHEREAS By-law 2007-81 specifies the conditions Council has set for the delegation of authority
AND WHEREAS Council deems it desirable to appoint the Township CAO/Clerk to approve livestock claims for payment on the recommendation of the Council appointed Livestock Valuator
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FRONTENAC HE ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
The COA/Clerk shall have authority to approve for payment any properly submitted livestock claim supported by the recommendation of the Council appointed Livestock Valuator
Any claim that is questionable or that is not supported by the Council appointed Livestock Valuator shall be brought to the attention of Council at the next regular meeting for their review and decision.
