TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FRONTENAC BY-LAW 2011-50

^-BY:-L^-TO PURCHASE PROPERTY BEING: PARTS OF LOT 3, CONCESSION 6, AND PART OF LOT 4 CONCESSION 6, BEING PARTS I, 3, 4, 6,_7 AND 8 OF A PRELIMINARY PLAN OF SURVEY DATED MAY 27, 2011 DRAFT REFERENCE NUMBER 11-017, IN THE DISTRICT OF BEDFORD, TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FRONTENAC.

WHEREAS the Township of South Frontenac wishes to purchase land adjacent to Canoe Lake Road for the purposes of road widening,

AND WHEREAS the Township of South Frontenac entered into discussions to purchase property from the four different landowners,

AND WHEREAS the property has been identified on a preliminary survey and an agreement reached with Thomas O’Heam, George Jones & Susan Bayley, Eric & Silvia Casutt and Leonard & Ruth Campbell for the purchase of the property,

NOW THEREFORE THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SO FRONTENAC, BY ITS COUNCIL, HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:

  1. That the Council of the Township of South Frontenac agrees to purchase lands described as:

Parts 1,6& 7 on a preliminary plan of survey dated May 27, 2011, from Thomas O’Heam for the sum of $4,910 in lieu of fencing Part 3 on a preliminary plan of survey dated May 27, 2011, from George Jones and Susan Bayley for the sum of $50 and driveway repair Part 4 on a preliminary plan of survey dated May 27, 2011, from Eric & Silvia Casutt for the sum of$600

Part 8 on a preliminary plan of survey dated May 27, 2011, from Leonard & Ruth CampbeU for the sum of$250

  1. That the Mayor and Chief Administrative OfBccr are authorized to sign the necessary documents to complete the transaction on behalf of the Township. nd Dated at the Township of South Frontenac this 2nd day of August 2011. nd Read a first and second time this 2 day of August 2011. nd
