TCWNSfflP OF SOUTH FRONTENAC BY-LAW NUMBER 2012-09
BEING A BY-LAW TO APPROVE THE RE-NAMING OF A PORTION OF AN
EXISTING PUBLIC ROAD FROM SPOONER ROAD TO DOVER ROAD; PART LOT 19, CONCESSION VH, DISTMCT OF STORRINGTON
WHEREAS, the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c.27, as amended provides that municipalities may pass by-laws respecting highways and all road allowances;
AND WHEREAS Council has passed and enacted By-law No. 2002-100 to prescribe the form and manner for changing the name of a highway; AND WHEREAS public notice of Council’s intention to pass this by-law has given in the manner prescribed in By-law No. 2002-100, as it relates to parcels of land located in Part of Lot 19, Concession VH of the District ofStomngton.

NOW THEREFORE THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH
FRONTENAC BY ITS COUNCIL, HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
- THAT the portion of public road known as Spooner Road and shown on Schedule (A’ to this By-law as running easterly from its intersection with Latimer Road to the westerly lunit offhe unopened road allowance along the boundary between the City of Kingston and the Township of South Frontenac, be re-named from
“Spooner Road” to “Dover Road”; 2.
THAT Schedule IA’ attached hereto shall form part of this By-law;
THIS BY-LAW shall come into force and take effect on fhe date of its passing.
Dated at the Township of South Frontenac this twentyfourth day of January, 2012.
Read a first and second tune this twentyfourth day of January, 2012.
