SOUTH FRONTENAC TOWNSHIP BY-LAW 2012-69
A BY-LAW TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE ONTARIO PROVINCIAL POLICE FOR THE PROVISION OF 9-1-1 CERB SERVICES
WHEREAS the Municipal Act, 2001, Section 8 gives the Municipality the rights and powers of a natural person; and,
WHEREAS this authority allows the Municipality to enter into agreements for the provision of various services; and WHEREAS the Township of South Frontenac wishes to enter into an agreement with the Ontario Provincial Police for fhe provision of 9-1-1 CERB Services. NOW THEREFORE THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH
FRONTENAC, BY ITS COUNCIL, HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
The Township enter into an agreement for the provision of 9-1-1 CERB Services with the Ontario Provincial Police under terms of the Agreement attached hereto.
That the Mayor and the Clerk-Administrator are hereby authorized to sign the agreement wifh fhe Ontario Provincial Police.
- That this Agreement takes effect on December 7th, 2012
A, By-law 2010-64 hereby repealed, effective December 7m’ 2012.
