THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FRONTENAC BY-LAW 2015-02
BEING A BY-LAW TO PROVIDE FOR GOVERNING THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COUNCIL, THE CONDUCT OF MEMBERS AND THE CALLING OF MEETINGS
WHEREAS Section 238 (2) of the Municipal Act, 2001, c.25, as amended (the
^.’-_pr?-vid^s_that 90uncil ^.hal1 a?opt ? procedure By-law for governing the calling, the place and proceedings of meetings;
AND WHEREAS Section 238 (2.1) of the Act provides that the procedure by-law shall provide for public notice of meetings;
AND WHEREAS the Corporation of the Township of South Frontenac deems it expedient to rewrite its current Procedural By-law;
NOW THEREFORE the Council for The Corporation of the Township of South Frontenac hereby enacts as follows:
That the proceedings of all Council meetings, the conduct of members and the calling of meetings shall be in accordance with the procedures and rules as set down in Schedule “A” attached hereto.
That By-laws 2007-83, 2010-09, 2011-59 and 2012-29 and all other bylaws or portions thereof conflicting with this by-law are hereby repealed.
This By-law shall come into force and take effect on the date of its passing.
NOW THEREFORE THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FRONTENAC, BY ITS COUNCIL, HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
