BEINGABY-LAWTOAMEND BY-LAW NUMBER 2000-85, THE OFFICIAL PLANFORTHETOWNSmpoF SOUTH FRONTENAC, AS AI^NDED:TO
CHANGE_THE TEXT OF THE PLAN TO SPECIFY THAT DEVELOPMENT MAYOCCUR AT 15° METRES OF A QUARRY AND TOAMENDTHE LAN USESCHEDUL_E TO ALLOW AN EXISTING QUARRY TO EXPAND W AREA: PART_LOT,17’CONCESSION VI, PORTLAND DISTRICT:" JACKSON’S EARTH STONES LTD.
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council of the Township of South Frontenac deems It
sq?edient toamelld By-.law Number 2000-85’ the official plan for the Township o’fSouth'
Frontenac, as amended, as it relates to a parcel of land located in Partof Lot“l ~7,
Concession VI of the District of Portland.
NOW THEREFORE THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FRONTENAC BY ITS COUNCIL, HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
- THAT Schedule “A”, Land Use Plan, to By-law Number 2000-85 as amended, i

hereby farther amended by identifying the lands subject to a new subsection 5^5.2 (a), for those lands shown on the attached map designated as Schedule “1”. 2.
THAT By-law Number2000-85 as amended is hereby further amended by adding a.,nw,subsection.to,be identified as Section 5.5.2(a) immediately after subsection 5.5.2 in the Mineral Aggregate Influence Area Poiicies section, to read as follows:
“5.5.2 (a) Special Influence Area Policy (Pt. Lot 17, Concession VI. Portland District: Jackson’s Earth StonesJMj
Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection 5.5.2 or any other section of
this Plan to the contrary, in relation to the lands identified as Part of Lot 17, Concession VI, Portland District, residential land uses maybe permitted as close as 150metres to the licensed quarry area subject to all other provisions of this Plan.”
THAT the Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to make application to the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing for the approval of Amendment Number 21 to the Township of South Frontenac Official Plan.
THAT this By-law shall come into force and take effect on the day of passing of the Official Plan Amendment Number 21 by the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing.
