TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FRONTENAC BY-LAW NUMBER 2015 -48
BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NUMBER 2000-85, THE OFFICIAL PLAN FOR THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FRONTENAC, AS AMENDED, TO EFFECT REVISIONS COMPRISING CHANGES TO THE TEXT OF THE PLAN INCORPORATING NEW PROVINCIAL LEGISLATION AND INTERNAL
CHANGES AND CLARIFICATIONS; AND CHANGES TO SCHEDULE “A”, THE LAND USE SCHEDULE; AND TO ADD SCHEDULES “B”, “C”, “D” AND “E”.
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council of the Township of South Frontenac deems it
expedient to amend By-law Number 2000-85, the Official Plan for the Township of South Frontenac, as amended, as it relates to land in the whole of the Township. NOW THEREFORE THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH
FRONTENAC BY ITS COUNCIL, HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
- THAT Schedule “A”, Land Use Plan, to By-law Number 2000-85 as amended, is hereby further amended by revising boundaries of land use designations and areas of provincial interest, as shown on the attached map identified as Schedule “A” and designated in this by-law as Schedule “I”.
THAT new schedules be added to By-law Number 2000-85 as amended, to further clarify land use designations, roads and areas of provincial interest comprising “Schedule B - Environmental Protection”, “Schedule C - Roads”, “Schedule D - Aggregates”, and “Schedule E - Natural Heritage Systems”.
THAT By-law Number 2000-85 as amended is hereby further amended by including a number of new policies to retlect new provincial legislation and internal changes and clarifications as attached hereto designated as Schedule “2”
THAT the Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to make application to the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing for the approval of Amendment Number 23 to the Township of South Frontenac Official Plan.
THAT this By-law shall come into force and take effect on the day of passing of the Official Plan Amendment Number 23 by the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing. Dated at the Township of South Frontenac this fifteenth day of September, 2015.
