TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FRONTENAC BY-LAW NUMBER 2015-53
BEING A BY-LAW TO APPROVE THE NAMING OF AN EXISTING PRIVATE Ill LANE TO PASSCHENDAELE LANE; PART LOT 16, CONCESSION
DISTRICT OF BEDFORD
WHEREAS, the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c.27, as amended provides that municipalities may pass by-laws respecting highways and all road allowances;
AND WHEREAS Council has passed and enacted By-law No. 2002-92 to prescribe the form and manner for The naming of a private road or lane;
AND WHEREAS public notice of Council’s intention to pass this by-law has given in the manner prescribed as it relates to parcels of land located in Part of Lot 16, Concession III of the District of Bedford.
NOW THEREFORE THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH
FRONTENAC BY ITS COUNCIL, HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the existing unnamed private lane shown on Schedule ‘A’ to this By-law as running northerly off of Barr Lane to access five waterfront residential lots fronting on Bob’s Lake be named “Passchendaele Lane”;
THAT Schedule ‘A’ attached hereto shall form part of this By-law;
THIS BY-LAW shall come into force and take effect on the date of its passing.
