TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FRONTENAC BY-LAW2018-04
A BY-LAW TO CONTRACT AND APPOINT AN ACTING FIRE CHIEF FOR THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FRONTENAC
WHEREASthe Council of the Township of South Frontenac deems it desirable and expedientto appoint a Fire Chief; and WHEREAS Section 6 of the Fire Prevention and Protection Act, 1997 authorizes a
municipality to appoint a Fire Chief who is responsible to Council for the delivery of Fire Services,
NOWTHEREFORETHE CORPORATIONOF THE TOWNSHIPOF SOUTH FRONTENAC, BY ITS COUNCIL, HEREBY ENACTSAS FOLLOWS:
That Council contracts and appoints Terry Gervais as Acting Fire Chief for the Township of South Frontenac.
Any and all by-laws or parts thereofconflicting with this by-laware hereby repealed.
This by-law shall come into force and effect on January 22, 2018. Dated at the Township of South Frontenac this 16 day of January 2018. Read a first and second time this 16 day of January 2018.
