TOWNSHIPOF SOUTH FRONTENAC BY-LAW2019-75 BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW 2014-26, A BY-LAW TO REGULATE
CONSTRUCTION, DEMOLITIONANDCHANGE OF USE PERMITSFORBUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND ALL OTHER RELATED SERVICESWITHIN THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FRONTENAC
WHEREASpursuant to section 9 ofthe Municipal Act, 2001, S. O. 2001, c. 25 a municipality has the capacity, rights, powers and privileges of a natural person for the purpose of exercising its authority under this or any other Act;
ANDWHEREASpursuant to section 8(1) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25 the powers of a municipality under this or any other Act shall be interpreted broadly so as to
confer broad authority on the municipality to enable the municipalityto govern its affairs as it considers appropriate to enhancethe municipality’s abilityto respond to municipal issues; ANDWHEREASsection 7 ofthe Building Code Act, 1992, S. O. 1992, c. 23, as amended,
authorizes municipal council to pass By-laws respecting construction, demolition and change of use permits, inspections and related matters includingfees; NOWTHEREFOREthe Council ofThe Corporation ofthe Township ofSouth Frontenac enacts as follows:

EFFECTIVEDATE This By-law shall come into force and take effect February 1st, 2020.
