TOWNSHIPOF SOUTH FRONTENAC BY-LAW 2021-31

BEING A BY-LAW TO PURCHASE PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE BELLROCK MILL, DESCRIBEDAS CONCESSION11, PART LOT 19, PLAN31, LOT8, RP 13R-1840 PARTS 1 AND 2 RP 13R813 DEPOT CREEK- 6024 MAIN ST IN THE VILLAGEOF BELLROCK, IN THE DISTRICT OF PORTLAND, TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FRONTENAC.

WHEREASthe Township ofSouth Frontenacwishesto purchase property forthe purpose of acquiring lands for the purpose of retaining historically significant properties; AND WHEREAS the Township of South Frontenac entered into discussions to

purchase property from First National Financial, ownerofthe Bellrock Mill property; AND WHEREAS an agreement has been reached with First National Financial for the purchase of the property,

NOWTHEREFORE THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FRONTENAC, BY ITS COUNCIL, HEREBYENACTSAS FOLLOWS:

That the Council ofthe Township of South Frontenac agrees to purchase lands described as concession 11, Part Lot 19, Plan 31, Part Lot 8, RP 13R1840

Parts 1 and 2 RP 13R812 Part 4 Depot Creek District of Portland, in accordance with the terms and conditions in the attached purchase and sale agreement.

That the Mayorand ChiefAdministrative Officerare authorized to sign the necessary documents to complete the transaction on behalfoftheTownship. Dated at the Township of South Frontenac this 1 day of June, 2021. Read a first and second time this 1 day of June, 2021.

Read a third time and finally passed this 1 dayof June, 2021.
