A By-Law to Amend By-Law 2023-04, ‘A By-Law to Amend By-Law 2023-04, ‘A By-Law to Define the Mandate and Meeting Procedures for Committees Established By The Corporation of The Township of South Frontenac’ Whereas
Council desires to update By—Iaw2023-04;
Therefore Be It Resolved That the Council of the Corporation of the Township of South Frontenac hereby enacts as follows:
- By—Iaw2023-04, ‘A By-Law to Amend By-Law 2023-04, ‘A By—Lawto Define the Mandate and Meeting Procedures for Committees Established By The Corporation of The Township of South Frontenac’, is hereby amended as follows: The first “Whereas” clause is amended to delete “2017—76,‘Procedure” and insert “2025-21 ‘Procedural” in its place to read as follows: “Whereas By—Iaw2025-21, ‘Procedural By-Iaw’ establishes the rules and procedures under which Council and Committees of Council are to operate; and,”
Clause 1.1. is amended to delete the phrase “Excluding the membership of the Police Services Board” to read as follows: “Allmembers of Council and members of the public appointed by the Township of South Frontenac to a board, committee or community committee outlined in the Committee By-Iaw must abide to By-Iaw 2019-12, A By—Lawto Adopt A Council Code Of Conduct, Complaint Protocol And A Council Staff Relationship Policy And Delegate To The Integrity Commissioner The Authority To Impose Penalties Under The Code Of Conduct.” Clause 4.4. is amended to delete the phrase “11) Questions of Clarity (from the public on outcome of agenda items) to read as follows: “The Agenda of every committee outlinedin Schedule A and Schedule C of this By-Iaw will be structured as follows: 1)

Police Services Board is amended to delete this
Community Committees is amended to delete the following in its entirety:
“6. The South Frontenac Rides 1 member of Council, appointed for the term of Council. Members of the public are appointed by Council for the term of Council. This Community Committee works to promote cycling within South Frontenac Township.” Schedule F of By—Iaw2023-04 is amended to delete reference to the Polices Services Board; and —
