Call to Order
The Deputy Mayor convened the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 2. Declaration of Pecuniary Interest - Nil 3.

Business Items

Report from Wayne Orr, Chief Administrative Officer, re: 2012 Capital Budget.
Wayne Orr reviewed in detail the Capital Budget report. Direction from Council with regard to the items in the report was as follows:
The development of a reserve policy has been referred to the Corporate Services Committee
The level of construction for 2012, 2013 and 2014 are acceptable pending the tax implications.
The creation of the 1% asset investment reserve should be included in the preliminary budget.
Direction on recreation items at this time will be deferred as they are not a taxation implication, they will continue in the Capital Budget.
Theunfanded expenses for the water system and the arena are to be brought back to Council at another time.
Other Business
Councillor Robinson reminded Council that they have ultimate responsibility and power with regard to decisions on budget.
The discussion from Council was to support the soup bowl fundraising initiative by th
purchasing tickets for lunch on November 19 6.
