Call to Order

The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. 2. Declaration of Pecuniary Interest. There were no declarations of pecuniary interest. 3.

Report from Anue Levac, Planning Assistant, re: Creation of a new public road - west side of Road 38

Further to the report from Anne Levac, Plannmg Assistant, regarding the creation of a new public road on the west side of Road 38, Council’s direction was that the

applicant needs to first get figures on the costs of building a new road to township standards and to make contact with the City of Kingston to see if they would be prepared to assume their share of the road. Following that, Council would give consideration to this request.

(ii) Report from Deputy Mayor Tinlin, re: South Frontenac Township Armorial Bearings Deputy Mayor Tinlin spoke to his memo. He highlighted the need for the

Township to move forward with a coat of arms and provided a sample of the end product. Council’s direction was to proceed with a formal recommendation at the next Council meeting. (iii) Report from Wayne Orr, re: 2011 Budget Wayne Orr reviewed Options A, B and C for the budget.

Council’s direction was to proceed to the council meeting with Option C, however the $50,000.00 for a public works position is to be transferred to the reserve fund for infrastructure.

(iv) Report from Wayne Orr, re: December Holiday Hours

Wayne Orr asked Council for their input of the holiday schedule.

Other Business

Deputy Mayor Tinlin served a notice of motion that the 2011 capital budget

includes an allocation of $1 096 000.00 for recreation projects and that before any

work begins on items not already underway could further details and rationale be presented to Council for approval.

Council asked that in preparing the notice of motion for the next council meeting,

Aat details with regard to the amounts carried forward from the previous year be included in the capital budget breakdown. 5. Adjournment
