AGENDA DATE: March 28, 2017 SUBJECT: PR-2017-02 Accessibility Upgrades to the Point Park Washrooms RECOMMENDATION: That Council accept the bid from Joe Bowes Carpentry in the amount of $94,606.00 plus HST for Tender PR-2017-02, Accessibility Upgrades to the Point Park Washroom.
BACKGROUND: A Tender closed March 15, 2017 for the Accessibility Upgrades to the washrooms at Point Park. Five bids were received and are listed below: CONTRACTOR

***After the bids were opened the low bidder contacted the CAO to express his price had not included the steel doors therefore that Tendered bid was disqualified. FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: Sufficient funds exist in the approved 2017 Capital Budget for this project.

TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FRONTENAC BY-LAW 2017-14
A BY-LAW TO CONFIRM GENERALLY PREVIOUS ACTIONS OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FRONTENAC. THEREFORE THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FRONTENAC, BY ITS COUNCIL, HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1.
The actions of the Council of the Corporation of the Township of South Frontenac at its Special Council Meeting of March 28, 2017 be confirmed.
Execution by the Mayor and the Clerk-Administrator of all Deeds, Instruments and other Documents necessary to give effect to any such Resolution, Motion or other action and the affixing of the Corporate Seal to any such Deed, Instruments or other Documents is hereby authorized and confirmed.
This By-law shall come into force and take effect on the date of its passage.
