TOWNSHIPOF SOUTH FRONTENAC BY-LAW2020-61 A BY-LAWTO APPOINTA DEPUTYCHIEF BUILDINGOFFICIAL WHEREAS Section 3 (1) of the Building Code Act, R. S. O. 1990. Chapter B. 13, as amended, provides that the Council of each municipality is responsible for the enforcement of the Building Code Act in the municipality; and,
WHEREASSection 3 (2) ofthe Building CodeAct, R. S.O. 1990, Chapter B. 13, as amended, requires that the Council of each municipality shall appoint a Chief Building Official; NOWTHEREFORETHE CORPORATIONOF THE TOWNSHIPOF SOUTH
FRONTENAC, BY ITS COUNCIL, HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
Rebecca Roy is hereby appointed as Deputy Chief Building Official for the Township of South Frontenac.
Rebecca Roy is hereby authorized by the Council to carry out the duties of a Building Inspector as set out in the Building Code Act.
Rebecca Roy is hereby authorized by Council to carry out the duties ofthe Chief Building Official in his/her absence as set out in the Buildina Code
Act. 4.
This by-law shall come into force and take effect on November 4, 2020.
