Until September 2026 NFNM also covered the neighbouring townships, the County and national affairs; those pieces stay online as published, and the site is North Frontenac only now.
How the work is paid for
By readers. The news and the paper are free and stay free. Membership pays for the work that takes weeks: the deep dives, the investigator’s notes behind them, and a desk where readers work the record with the editor. The tiers are here. Nobody buys coverage: members do not see stories before they run, do not choose what is covered, and advertisers have no say in what is published.
The rules we work by
